Finally understand why your pelvic floor symptoms won't go away,
and what to do about it in just 2 weeks
When "Do More Kegels" Makes Everything Worse...
You wake up with that familiar burning sensation. Again.
You shift in your chair for the tenth time this hour because your tailbone is screaming. You've already been to the bathroom three times since lunch, even though you barely drank anything.
Tonight, you'll probably avoid sex again. Not because you don't want intimacy—but because you're bracing for the pain.
Your doctor told you to do more Kegels. You've been doing them religiously—in the car, at your desk, before bed. Hundreds of them.
But here's what's actually happening: Every Kegel you do is making your symptoms worse.
Because your pelvic floor isn't weak. It's exhausted from never getting to rest.
I Know This Story Because I Lived It
I'm Emma Bromley—Pilates Instructor and Perimenopause Corrective Exercise Specialist with over 15 years of experience helping women understand their bodies.
But a decade ago? I was completely lost.
I was dealing with frequent UTI’s that my doctor couldn’t get to the bottom of, tailbone pain and debilitating back pain despite doing “all the right exercises”.
Yet I kept getting worse.
The turning point came when I took a pelvic health certification where we learned all about hypertonicity and the symptoms it causes, and i realized that my pelvic floor was actually too TIGHT, not too weak.
Too tight? That seemed impossible. Tight meant strong, didn't it?
My pelvic floor was stuck in chronic contraction. It was working overtime, clenched and guarded, unable to relax.
All those Kegels I'd been doing? I was essentially asking an already cramping muscle to cramp harder.
Once I learned to release that tension first (once my pelvic floor remembered how to let go) everything changed. The burning sensations disappeared. The tailbone pain resolved. Sex became comfortable again.
I completely eliminated all these symptoms. Not through more strengthening, but through understanding what my body actually needed.
And now, after 15 years of teaching and working with thousands of women, I've discovered something that would have saved me years of frustration:
About 70% of the pelvic floor dysfunction I see is hypertonicity—muscles stuck in chronic tension.
Yet almost everyone gets told to "do more Kegels."
The Symptoms That Finally Make Sense...
That persistent burning sensation in your pelvis that feels exactly like a UTI—except every test comes back negative. Your doctor can't find anything wrong, but you feel terrible. You've been on antibiotics multiple times. Nothing helps.
Sitting through a meeting is torture. Long car rides are impossible. You're constantly shifting positions, trying to find relief. Some days, standing feels like the only option.
Penetration hurts. Even when you're mentally relaxed and aroused, your body physically won't cooperate. It's straining your relationship, and you feel broken.
You just went to the bathroom ten minutes ago, but you already feel that urgent need again. You plan your entire day around bathroom locations. You wake up multiple times every night.
You've been doing your pelvic floor exercises faithfully. But somehow, your symptoms are getting worse instead of better. You're trying so hard, but nothing's working.
There's just this persistent sense that something in your pelvis isn't right. A pressure, a tension, a feeling like you're sitting on a golf ball.
When your pelvic floor muscles are stuck in contraction, they create these exact symptoms:
Your symptoms aren't mysterious. They're your body's way of telling you it needs to let go, not contract harder.
The fitness industry and healthcare system have been teaching the same approach for decades:
"Leaking? Do Kegels."
"Pressure? Strengthen your core."
"Pain? Just relax more."
This is why women spend months or years doing exercises that not only don't help—they make things worse.
SO LET ME INTRODUCE:
After 15 years of working with women and watching thousands transform their pelvic floor health, I've identified the exact sequence that creates lasting change:
Your pelvic floor needs permission to let go. We start with gentle release techniques that teach chronically tight muscles how to relax. This isn't just stretching—it's retraining your nervous system to recognize what "released" actually feels like.
Most women notice their first improvements within days of starting release work. The burning sensations become less frequent. Sitting gets slightly more comfortable. Sleep improves.
Once your muscles remember how to relax, we carefully rebuild strength without recreating old tension patterns. This is coordination training—teaching your pelvic floor to work as part of your complete core system, responding appropriately to different demands.
By the end of week two, women typically report significant improvements: tailbone pain resolving, urgency decreasing, sex becoming comfortable again.
This isn't about managing symptoms forever.
It's about addressing the root cause.

Your Body Has Been Asking For Help
Every burning sensation, every moment of tailbone pain, every urgent bathroom trip—these aren't signs that you're broken.
They're information.
Your pelvic floor has been trying to tell you something. It's been asking for permission to release, to rest, to remember how to work properly again.
For too long, you've been given the wrong translation. You've been told these messages mean "work harder," when they actually mean "let go."
What changes when you finally understand what your body needs?
✓ You sit comfortably through dinner without thinking about your tailbone once.
✓ You wake up in the morning and your first thought isn't "I need to pee"—it's about your coffee, your plans, your life.
✓ You go to the bathroom when you actually need to, not from anxiety or false urgency.
✓ Sex becomes something you look forward to instead of something you endure or avoid.
✓ You move through your day without that constant low-level awareness of pelvic discomfort.
✓ Your body stops feeling like it's working against you and starts feeling like it's actually yours again.
This is possible. And it starts with understanding what's really happening.
“I didn't think it would be worth it. It was. I didn't think it would work for me. It did. I didn't think I'd be *that* success story. I am. ”

DR RAJ SHAH, OM PHYSIO:
"I'm a pelvic floor and oncology physical therapist... I've been following your work on Instagram and have found your approach to core and pelvic strengthening incredibly insightful and practical. Several of my patients have benefited from your programs."
The understanding you need is waiting.
P.S. - The most common thing I hear from women who complete this program? "I wish I'd known about this years ago."
Don't let another month pass wondering what's wrong when the solution might be simpler than you think.
I NEED THIS Now →
How long are the daily sessions?
8-15 minutes for most videos. There is one main video for each day, plus an extra 1-2 bonus videos for each day to complete as and when you have time Designed to fit into busy schedules while still creating real change.
What equipment do I need?
Just an inflatable pilates ball (under $10 at most stores), and a therapy ball or tennis ball. Everything else uses just your body.
Can I do this if I've never done Pilates or exercise programs before?
Absolutely. Everything is demonstrated with clear instruction and modifications. No prior experience needed.
What if I'm not sure if my pelvic floor is tight or weak?
The program includes assessment videos that help you identify your specific patterns. Many women have both tightness and weakness in different areas—the program addresses this.
Will this work if I've had these symptoms for years?
Yes. Muscle tension patterns can be changed regardless of how long they've been there. The retraining process is the same whether symptoms started months or decades ago.
What if I have prolapse or other diagnosed conditions?
This program addresses the muscle tension component that often accompanies these conditions. Many women find their prolapse symptoms improve when pelvic floor tension releases. However, if you have complex medical conditions, work with your healthcare provider alongside this program.
Is this just for postpartum women?
No. Pelvic floor hypertonicity affects women at all life stages—postpartum, perimenopausal, athletic, or those who've never been pregnant. This program focuses on symptoms, not demographics.
What happens after the 2 weeks?
You'll have a maintenance routine to continue progress plus lifetime access to return to any section whenever needed. Most women find they can self-manage symptoms going forward with the tools they've learned. For full body pelvic floor friendly workouts, see my other programs. Many women do the Tight Pelvic Floor Fix first before moving on to either the Mama or Meno Method.
